the Department of Energy’s (DOE) Office of Environmental Management released a competitive Funding Opportunity Announcement (FOA) for the Community Capacity Building Grant Program (CCBGP). Eligibility for awards is restricted to Disadvantaged Communities and DOE anticipates making multiple financial assistance awards.
The awards will focus on reinvestment in disadvantaged communities impacted by decades of nuclear defense and research missions, and currently hosting environmental cleanup sites.
